TN Smart Ration Card Registration
To apply for Electronic Smart Ration Card, you will have to register yourself and you have to follow the steps given below:
- Firstly, you have to visit the official website
- On the right side of the homepage, click on the ‘Apply For Electronic Card.‘
- Further, you have two options to select for registration of Smart Card
- Application For New Electronic Card and Old Family Card Registration, for new card select first option
- Fill in the details given below
- Name of the Family Head
- Father’s/Husband’s Name
- Full Residential Address Details
- Select District, Zone/Circle, and Village
- Postal Code, Mobile No, and Email Id
- After that, you have to fill in the Family Head’s details like Name, Gender, Date of Birth, Relationship Mode and Activity
- Moreover, you have to select the Card Type, Proof of Residence and upload a passport size photo
- Further, click on the ‘Details of Gas Connection’ and Confirmation

- Fill the Application Form and enclose the required documents which are mentioned in the form

To check the TN Smart Ration Card Status, you will have to follow the simple steps given below:-

- On the homepage, click on the ‘Status of Electronic Card Application.‘
- On the opening of the webpage, you will have to enter the Reference Number
- Further, enter the correct Reference Number and click on the ‘Record‘ button

Process To Download and Fill in Authorization Form
- Firstly, you have to visit the official TNPDS website
- On the homepage, click on the ‘Certificate of Authorization‘ tab
- Now, the PDF form will open on your screen which you can download to your computer device
- After that, take the printout of the form and fill in all the details given below
- Head Name and Family card Number (UFC number)
- Family members in the ration cards
- Reasons for unable to get commodities
- Registered Mobile Number of the Ration Card Holder
- Name of the person authorized to lift commodities and Family card number (UFC)
- After that, fill in the correct details to certify that you are giving genuine details
- At the bottom of the page, take the signature of the family card holder

- Under that, you can see the following Applications
